Seeing as I cant get any holidays from work that coincide with the GF (she's a teacher, and all the school holidays are taken where I am), a mate and I are going on holiday together. :beer:

I've always wanted to go to Scandinavia, and he fancies a city break, so we are leaning towards Helsinki / Oslo for 4 or 5 days in September.

has anyone been to either city? any hints / tips / must do's or any other "city" suggestions?

We fancy a bit of culture in the day and some decent bars in the evening.... (and I want to snowmobile!)
