Get it to BTaP... drain all the coolant or oil out of it... £1 to enter - "guess how long it'll last till it blows up" - all money goes to charity!

Graham - my remark was a bit flipant... I mean who is going to remove the damn thing after it's blown up?

More importantly - you got in there first, and IMHO it's "first come, first served".

Hope you guys can sort something out!

Tell ya what, if I get it sorted with the college and Ted give's me a section of the site I will do a kind of diary, It'll be the PistonHeads car, we hope to be doing some kind of racing with it! Lets see what happens!

I could come and pick the car up as my sister lives in Waterbeach near cambridge so it's not that far!

Sounds like a worthy cause...

Slightly better than the 'worthy cause' I found for a quarter decent Scirocco (a brand new Scirocco was only half decent to begin with) I just got rid of...

it went to the local Fire Service for them to 'practice' on

I had tried giving it away before that, but didn't dare mention it on here

Edited for more appropriate smileys

Cheers, Phil

Hi Graham

The car drives fine (1 previous owners) as far as i know i had it for a project but a friend ended up having it as a run about. until the alarm went AWOL.

Moving house so cant do the project i wanted, so if you wanna come and get it sometime on wednesday or thursday would be great. otherwise its being towed away on friday Bloody council.

Cheers

The car is perfectly fine just cosmetics are a bit naff but the alarm is f**ked dont know how to bypass to get the car started so either you will have to get it towed or fixed some other way

Excellent!

I'm just trying to think about this alarm polava (sp.) if it's a case of just disconnecting the wires from the speaker then it should be an easy enough job!

What have you tried??
