Is "Hybrid" the new word, that was once "Turbo"?

A couple of decades or more ago, everything from cars, vacuum cleaners and indeed anti-perspirant were marketed as "Turbo".

Now the watch - word seems to be "Hybrid", from cars, to pedal bikes and now mattresses.

Thoughts and opinions, other one-word advertising slogans....?
