A businessman left 2 rare Ferraris in his will to the RNLI

Mr Colton left the RNLI a red 1960 Ferrari 250 GT SWB, which sold at auction for £6.6m, and a 1967 Ferrari 275 GTB/4, which raised £1.93m.

I suppose if your gonna get left a Ferrari, it may aswell be a short wheelbase 250!

Bet they were very pleased with that! A very worthwhile recipient.

My Ferrari is left to my oldest friend. He does not know. In reality it will only go to him if something happens to me before my time as I guess he wont want it as an 80 year old man. However if I get run over by a bus he can have it and have some fun!

Hmm... good point!!

I will probably sell it anyway in the long term but its just a fun thing if something random was to happen and its worth about 1% of the 250 GT posted above so not really anything life changing just a laugh really.

I've seen it mentioned before as the man died in 2015 , but the boat house has only recently been completed with the auction

money .
