Couple of small parts
Discussion
Afternoon all,
Trying to get hold of a couple of minor parts for my 987.2 (Spyder, but I don't think that makes any difference).
The more important one is a rubber plug that fits in the bodywork aft of the engine bay. Photos attached. Part number seems to be 999.703543.40, but I can't find one on the Web.
Second and less important one is a replacement strap for the fuel filer cap. I've found the part (see below), so the question is not locating it, but how you fit it - Ive just been out to look at the existing (broken) one, but can't see how to get it off.
Many thanks in advance,
Paul

Both parts will be available from Porsche themselves an most likely a lot cheaper than advertised online. They're normally happy to take card payments over the phone and generally post for free too.
WRT fitting the petrol cap strap, can't offer any advice but I frequently find the mystery clears up somewhat once the replacement part is in my hands and can be inspected closely.
