Bad idea IMO. At the very least you'd also need to reduce the rear tyres in sync to GT3 305s. Trouble is the RS wears 21'' rears as opposed to 20'' on GT3. Better idea is to switch the Cup 2s to MP4Ss with slightly less stiff sidewalls which will improve the steering feel without the need to change rims. If fitting MP4Ss the fronts can remain 265s but the rears need to be wider then the Cups 325s as they are a narrower tyre despite being the same width on paper.

Not wanting to argue with Mr. Taffy but would that be the case with the new NDO rated MP4S? I would have thought you just get the NDO 325s. The chap on Rennlist had fitted 355 section MP4S and I didn't think they looked right.

The new NDO might change things completely but i really don't know anything about them. However after Xmas i will look at fitting a set to my RS. I also read the thread on Rennlist about the need to fit 355mm MP4Ss on the rear 21'' wheels so i assume you're a pretty well informed guy.
Back to the part about fitting 245mm on the front, its not something i would consider fitting to my RS unless the rears was also changed to 20'' 305mm to follow suit. The new NDO MP4Ss sound very interesting.
This is my personal opinion as an owner of an RS WP but bear in mind i'm no expert by any means.

I noticed that the latest Panamera when optioned with 21 inch rims comes with the 325 30 21r NDO rated tyre on the rear. So that's probably why there's now something N-rated that fits the rears on GT3RS/GT2RS but not designed specifically for them.
