Is this just another scam/phishing?

Two separate emails and an SMS message last night reputedly from Microsoft (accountprotectionmicrosoft.com) telling me my yahoo email has been accessed and I need to recover it.

Dodgy or for real? Not the usual odd email address and they have my mobile no. too.

Agreed The address "accountprotectionmicrosoft.com" is the giveaway that it's not from Microsoft.com.

Thanks, my yahoo email has been "hacked" in the past I think as some on my contacts list have received iffy emails "from me"
Strange this one has both email address and mobile number.

Hi Tony, sorry, I hadn't noticed that you were the OP. Another giveaway would be if there was a "link" for you to click on, rather than telling you to go to Microsoft.com.

Cheers Alan, it was a good one even to the point where you hover over the email address and it came up as microsoft/us or something similar, complete with microsoft symbol.
