Hi I wonder if anyone has any thoughts. We tried home charging on the standard home socket lead provided with the EQC and tried three different sockets on two different circuits (kitchen & garage).

Each time it started to charge and then loses connection and then says charging error.

We did try when the battery was showing 170 mile range and 66% charge.

Is there something I’m doing wrong?

Try it on a neighbours to make sure it's not your earth (etc.).

Might be completely missing this, and with all I know from AC it doesn't make any sense to me, but I had an old tesla charger as a loaner that was actually sensitive to POLARITY.
I took me two days to figure out where it went wrong, testing at parent's and inlaws. So reversing polarity... yes on AC, actually made the difference between working and not working.

Found one or two threads from other people with a similar issue. German plugs however allow you to rotate the plug 180 degrees so they didn't really have an issue (other than having to try and plug it in and see if it works). French plugs can't be rotated.
The charger on my car doesn't have the same issue so it was a niche scenario apparently.

I eventually got a lead that just reversed polarity that I could use where necessary. Worth the shot.

Do you have scheduled charging activated? If so it won't charge until it is scheduled to.

Alternatively try a different lead if possible.

We spent several hours at Mercedes yesterday and it is the car. They are having it in next week for two days and think it is the software.. It charges fine otherwise. Any thoughts or comments on this?

Is it serious should i be considering my options re rejection?

Minor software glitch by the sound of it. Should be easy enough to fix and then enjoy.
