well must be me then as every time I log on to this website, actproducts.co.uk, I get an error and it doesn't want to know. All other websites are ok and A.C.T. is of especially high quality - not quite what I wanted though ! ! !

I have had a problem for a few weeks now with ACT website. I get an Internet Explorer window saying that they have encountered a problem and needs to close. If I send the error report or cancel I get cut of the net. I don't have any problems with any other site.

What exactly does the error say?

Are you getting a little yellow warning triangle in the lower left corner of your browser. If you are click on it and tell me that it says.

Most likely to be a javascript error on the ACT web page and your browser is set to alert ypu.

ACT home page starts to load then stops with " 2 items remaining" (bottom left hand corner message), then the error message comes up.

How bizarre. I don't normally use IE since I switched to Firefox a few months ago, but as a sanity check I just confirmed that I can access www.actproducts.co.uk using IE without any problems. I guess it's something specific to your installation. Sorry I can't help other than to suggest you check you've got the latest updates and patches, or try Firefox.

Ok,

You could have cached (stored) aversion of the page previously that did error.

Visit ACT again, when the page stops loading, press the Ctrl key down whilst you click the refresh button.

Also check your browser settings - Click tools in the IE options along the top of the browser, select Internet Options. In the central selection Temporary Internet Files, press the settings button. At the top of the window select the radio button next to 'every visit to the page' and press Ok and exit.

This will always fetch a new copy of every page you visit.

I get exactly the same - starts loading then when almost finished, I get an internet explorer error and it shuts me down telling me to contact the vendor???

Ok i'm sure we can cut a deal, maybe they could do a song about ACT upgrades , then i could supply a few stage props ?? everyone's a winner. let me know if they need a hand with the lyrics.

Regarding the website problem, the clever person who is in charge of this is away, but if anybody has any problems please email [e-mail] with any information ie software etc, and we'll get back to you.
I haven't been aware of any recent problems.
