Alarm installation recomendation
Discussion
Recently had a problem with my meta alarm (wouldn't lock the car, siren kept going off) so I decided to bite the bullet and get it replaced.
Had a Clifford 300 system fitted by Sextons in Reading and would just like to say how impressed I was with their service. I was expecting the car to be with them for at least a couple of days but it only took them a day to take out the old meta rubbish and replace with the new alarm. They even washed the car for me!
They did confess if they hadn't previously done a TVR it would have been a complete nightmare for them but hey, I was happy.
Edited as I forgot to say it was a Griff.

Graham, be aware that when I had a concept 300 on my griffith it was replaced 7 times, eventually thought it was because of a lack of earth on a fibreglass car.
They did say getting an earth is a major problem with fibreglass cars but they were going to run it through to the earth strap (does that make sense?).
What were the symptoms?
I'll let you know how I get on over the next week or so. My neighbours are going to love me if it keeps going off.

How much ???
Mel - it cost £395 including fitting. Doesn't have all the fancy gizmo's as I didn't really need them. May have the remote boot release fitted at a later date though.
Cheers
Graham
