Bentley Continental GT 2007 Bonnet switch
Discussion
Is it possible to obtain the bonnet switches separately? Are they made for any other vehicles? Eg the Audi A8 or Phaeton? The reason that I ask is that mine have been playing up, resulting in the bonnet open alarm, but I don’t fancy paying nearly £500 for a new front bonnet latch system just for a faulty micro switch. I’ve disconnected both switches, so the alarm has disappeared, but I don’t really like driving around like that.
My apologies if this is being posted in the wrong section.

May well be the same as the micro-switches shown here, if so they are a common switch (nothing special) and can be purchased from RS components or any other micro-switch supplier, there are many at ebay
The micro-switches are seen by looking for the small waterproofing boots that are fitted over their plungers in the below images

Most likely the actual issue isn't the switch itself but the adjustment for the switch striker.
Check whether operating the switch/switches by hand clears the alarm or not before buying actual switch/switches.
If it does then a slight adjustment of switch/striker position is likely the issue.

From the crust in that picture of say the switch is goosed.Check whether operating the switch/switches by hand clears the alarm or not before buying actual switch/switches.

5 minutes with a multimeter would tell you which one it is.
