Rear anti-roll bar problem.

Yesterday my car started making metallic noises from the rear. Investigating this morning, I found a fracture in the metal strap that the drop link for the ARB connects onto.
Anybody else had this problem? Is it just a simple reinforce and weld solution ?

I vaguely remember reading about this problem somewhere, but cannot recall the details.

I understand it is a common problem. I think TVR modified the wishbone design, but it's relatively simple to get it welded up.
