I want to put a TV in our bedroom, as I don’t want any more kids.

I have a Samsung UE55KS7000 in my living room, which is brilliant. It was about £1200 when purchased.

Currently I can buy another of these second hand for about £500

But is a £500 2020 model better than a much more expensive 2016 model?

It will be used with a Sky Q mini box, so a good 1080 source, but no 4K/HDR

Surely the correct answer is to move the old knackered Samsung into the bedroom & replace it with a nice shiny new 65" OLED in the living room?

It is yes, but unfortunately I’m moving house and my wife says we need furniture and stuff as well.

I can’t see why the kids can’t sleep on the floor tbh
