Nothing. OPC doesn't know either. I've toying between upgrading from 991.2 GTS which will be 3 years old or a trip to Lichfield to add some toys. I reckon the cost to upgrade to 992 will be £36k which doesn't feel worth it. Spending £7k at Lichfield would create a bit of a beast, which is still great for everyday.

Interesting - I had a 991.2 GTS - never thought it was lacking grunt. I thought It was the perfect daily & I think far better looking than the 992 derivatives so far. smile

I have a deposit with an OPC against a 992 C4S based on the understanding it will be transferred to a 992 GTS as soon as release date etc is confirmed. It was the best way we could find of getting in line. I did it around six months ago expecting/hoping for clarity re 992 GTS launch early in 2021.

At the same time, I bought a 991.2 GTS. The longer I have it, the more I like it. Not sure what I will end up doing to be honest.

All a very long winded way of saying the OPC has promised to keep me posted and I’m confident they will. Heard nothing leading me to conclude there is nothing yet confirmed re the 992 GTS launch.

My guess is they won’t launch GT3 and GTS avery close together and given we’ve had the official/unofficial reveal of GT3 you would think that will be first. My guess would be Q2.

I suspect it’ll be closer to 2022 before we see a GTS.

I know it won’t happen, but it would be nice to see a detuned GT3 lump in a NA GTS 4.0.

It was originally due March 2021 for a Geneva launch but that has gone out of the window now. As others have said, GT3 will come first (2021 Q1?) so I'm thinking Autumn 2021 with deliveries Spring 2022.

It's certainly unlikely. Although the 4.0 718 gts was a huge surprise.
It'd make the 3l turbo a bit unsaleable.
