Following the epic 2007 floods a number of streets called 'The Water Meadows' were subtly renamed 'The Meadows' in case it put off future buyers.
Questions were raised about building houses on water meadows i.e flood plains.


What to feel about those living next to a great big earth bank or cliff edge?
