I have a 4 year old 55" samsung TV with a cracked screen. Is it worth anything at all and how do i get rid of it, short ot taking it to the local tip
<<Is it worth anything at all?>> No.<<how do i get rid of it?>> take it to the local tip. You will add yours to the enormous pile of wee (waste electrical equipment) already there and waiting to be 'mined' for anything useful/valuable.

If it's only screen that's cracked, the electronics inside are still of value.<<how do i get rid of it?>> take it to the local tip. You will add yours to the enormous pile of wee (waste electrical equipment) already there and waiting to be 'mined' for anything useful/valuable.
Id say leave it with the bins but the Romanian/bulgarian regd vans that used to come on bin days to swoop up just about anything with salvageable metal in it seem to have vanished - I'm told most of what they took went to eastern Europe for breaking down so maybe its a brexit thing. Sorry.
