Looking for a 32" TV for the bedroom.
Don't know whether to get a Smart TV, or to get a standard "dumb" TV and a FireStick.

Need it to have iPlayer, 4OD, ITV Hub and Amazon prime. Other apps may be useful but not essential.

Personally I would never buy a TV based on its smart functionality.

Suppliers tend to stop support for common apps after a few years (especially keep an eye on Sony over the next few years following what looks like a big step back from AV full stop and the closure of two factories in 2021)

A fire stick will do everything you need easily and will keep being supported for longer. When you get to a point it doesn't run the latest apps anymore you just unplug it and buy whatever the latest one at that time is.

Although I have a smart TV in the bedroom, I bought a fire stick for it simply because it annoyed me that the user interface is different when using the smart TV apps. Prefer it's the same for all TVs. (Plus, with Amazon echo I like being able to use voice control).

I don't think you can even buy a non-smart 32" TV - not a mainstream brand at least.

I did a lazy look at the only two places I'd buy from - Richer Sounds & John Lewis - & none of the 32 " were non-smart but there you go OP - there's one candidate.
