Just thinking the other day the Cerbs been around for yonks now, needless to say it still looks the bollox. I sold mine with 54000 albeit 16k of that was on a new engine, then I saw one last week with 63000, with 10K on a new engine.

What yours upto, is it still the original engine?
It will be interesting to see what is the highest, I remeber there being talk of an 80000 plus belonging to a woman (ex rally driver)up north.

Paul mine was a 97 P, 4.2, the bearings failed on the crank, major game over, needless to say the warranty company wouldn't touch it, £5K down the tubes.

What was the story with yours.

steve, call the factory with the VIN number and reg, they'll give you virtually the entire history on the car

Hi Marc

It was a full re-build crank upwards – pistons, rings, bearings, liners, conrods etc, fortunately the pervious owner was kind enough to have it re-build by the factory last year - I’ve only had the car for a month you see.

Paul

Perhaps a good time to fit one of those Chevvy V8 LS1 thingys someone's been on about on another thread? I've been wondering why someone doesn't offer a conversion ...

What,s happened to this thread surely there,s some high milers out there.I,ve noticed that the Tuscan owners have a similar thread going and it,s intersesting that they have quite a positive feed back ,I often wonder what we do to the residual values of our cars with only negative input.

Positive feed back? Just because all the ones with problems don't want to talk about it any more due to residuals! I'm sure there are loads of Cerbera's out there with 40k+ these days.

I saw a Cerbera at Portfields about 3 years ago that
that > 70K on it.. and it was only about 2 years old.

Still it's probably been clocked by someone now...

I think you've failed to see what i'm doing, if any thing this should be positive, the purpose is to find out what miles people are clocking up i.e trouble free motoring, the purpose of asking if its on the original engine is to establish if there's a common fault.

With this in mind we can all plan to maintain the car and keep it virtually problem free.
