Weird Ice Sculpture in Birdbath

Freezing night last night .Went out to find this triangular 3-4in high triangular ice column on the frozen surface. Was fresh water earlier in day. Anyway the pics are better than my description.
Anybody have a theory on how it could have formed?









Last pic is general view with bowl at base of bird table. We don’t want them to have to walk far.

At a guess water has been dripping into the bowl and as it freezes it has gradually formed that shape. Just my theory.

Do you get icicles form on the bird table? Wondering if one has fallen off and frozen In place perhaps?

Water was freezing and something perched/stepped on it which forced a section upwards? Then froze in position?

Just a quess.
Surface froze over then cracked and a triagular hole formed, then remaining water under the ice pushed up through hole slowly freezing as it went?
Could also have been freezing from below as bowl is exposed underneath?
Petty impressive however it formed.

Thanks BPriest and Eastern. I would never had worked that out but perfectly logical. I prefer the White Walkers /Mini monolith theories though.

I once had a fullish bottle of water, in liquid form, instantly freeze up in the car.
5am in the morning starting my 30 mile drive to work.
It had been freezing overnight and as turned my first corner, as if by magic, I saw it happening.
One second sloshing around in a plastic bottle then freezing solid
I could not believe it possible.
But it did happen.
Like a special effect on a Horror Movie!
Google explained how it happened when I got to work.
Nothing to do with your Birdbath, sorry but it caught my memory.

I expect that is one of those nucleation things. Like those hand warmers that you click the metal disc and the whole pouch freezes over, only exothermic.
