Upgrading a Samsung soundbar bluetooth sub?

Hi all, long story short, I have a Samsung sound bar with a wireless bluetooth sub and the 'bar' part is built into my unit and would be a nightmare to change, but the sub is not powerful enough for me and I'd like to upgrade it.

The sub is a bluetooth one, and as I see it, I have 2 options.

1. Try and get a new Samsung sub from another (higher spec Samsung system), but how would I pair it?
2. Take the existing sub apart and somehow remove the bluetooth receiver and internal 'stuff' and transfer this into another (better quality) stand alone sub. Will this work? What type of sub should I buy?

Any comments or other ideas? Thanks all.
