Mine, was this. Just finished it, thought it was a great book. A history lesson on original sports cars, Aston, racing / le mans, the drivers, Bond, and an inherent love of the marque apparent from the author. Well written with a touch of humour, to my eyes anyway. Thoroughly recommend it.

That’s great to hear, I also received the book and it’s next on my list to read

Look like HR spacers?

I fitted some 11mm (or 12?) recently to the rear - they would look better with a 20mm or so drop in ride height as the top of the wheel would tuck in a degree more.

I can’t believe AM released the Vantage on its factory ride heights, there is at 40-50 mm in arch to tyre clearance that could easily be removed. Possibly more if you don’t have front carbon splitter to be wary of.

In terms of presents - just a used but minty genuine AM crystal key fob in red. Which now looks out of place against the black case for my tracker fob..

It could be used for multiply uses, the two 1600w fans can blow at 288km/h so reckon could use as a back pack to fly, with a long enough flex.lol

Same here, only Aston Martin related gift this year but must say I am rather enjoying Ben’s writing style.

I agree and would love to drop mine a bit but it ain't going to happen unless I move house because even my old 2009MY came close without the carbon splitter to worry about. Getting on & off the drive is part of the test drive for any car I buy.

Like, yikes, that is close. I’ve got speed humps on our road, too close for comfort. Will consider some sliplo when I’ve had the scrapes removed
