Series X Streaming

Well that's a bit bizarre ! I used to stream from my One X to the PC upstairs and it worked OK for games like Fallout 4.
I've just now gotten into Skyrim and have been streaming to my iPad which works great but decided to do some streaming to the PC.

It doesn't work. So I can stream to iOS and Android on my shiny new Series X but not a Windows 10 PC lol !

Are others having the same issue?

Maybe it is something they are going to turn on as they work on the next version of the xbox software?

Well, not ao much an issue, just not available yet.


From MS: "Streaming to the Xbox Console Companion app on Windows 10 is available on Xbox One generation consoles only. It is not available on Xbox Series X|S consoles."

Damn I use steaming to my pc as a workaround to not have to buy the Philips hue sync box for my hue lights behind the monitor

This doesn't sound promising .... I wonder if it's to do with Gamepass on PC the greedy f###### ....

Remote Play on Windows 10
Known issue: Console streaming to a Windows 10 device from an Xbox Series X|S will not work through the Xbox Console Companion app.
Workaround: This feature is only supported through an Xbox One generation device. You can currently stream from an Xbox Series X|S console to an Android or iOS device via the Xbox app. Keep an eye on news.xbox.com for any updates on further support for additional platforms like Windows 10 devices.
