Can we "remoaners" now be referred to as "Rejoiners" ?

Don't provoke them, they are easily startled but they'll soon be back, and in greater numbers.

Of course you can.

To register.....you can do that here..... just place your full name, full address, name of spouse, kids, where the kids go to school, phone number, inside leg measurement, is your grandmother a virgin, a list in sequence of your favourite hits of the Goombay Dance Band, your mothers maiden name, the sort code account code and your pin, the make, model registration number, vin, and car key code, allow your name to be on a sex register offenders list, give permission for you and your next of kin to be given ebola - so experimental drugs can be tested on them, you sign over all your worldly goods to Nigel Farage ( soon to be KBE )

Or.... might I suggest; you lost 4 1/2 years ago, and it is an assumption - but you have been fighting Brexit tooth and nail all this time.
You hate democracy.
You still hate democracy.

But - regardless we wish you a happy New Year.

I hope you and yours are safe and well - and will prosper in the future outside the EU.

Very happy to be called a loser, no issues there

I "lost" in a great many general elections and referenda (incl. Proportional Representation etc)

Just because "I lost" doesnt mean I have to accept the views of whatever "won".....thats not how democracy works....

I think that's a fair shout.

The good news is that we have both the WA and the FTA in place that can, and will, be built upon over time.

Baby steps at first, but we are still bound together with the EU and as time progresses, and demographics change, I think we will only get closer still.

Perhaps if people accepted the result and moved on we would be better for it ? Or if its still such a big issue why don't remainer's apply for residency in the EU and move there if its so wonderful.

I was a remainer, but rejoining would be pointless.

We had secured so many privileges and concessions that we had very little to gain from leaving. However, to rejoin, we'd have to buy into everything, our privileges and concessions went when we left.

I wouldn't want to go back in on their terms now - especially as, by leaving, we trashed our exchange rate, so going back in would see us permanently impoverish ourselves.

...ignoring all the drivel about my personal details.....

I dont hate democracy...not sure your definition of "hate" or "democracy" aligns with mine, but whatever

And yes, I am sure mine will all thrive outside the EU, no issues there, thanks for your concern.

Hope all is well with you and yours too

And this thinking is the reason why you lost in the first place...the gnashing of teether from remainers in the last few days has been utterly utterly predictable

Yeah I reckon give it five or ten years, by which time most of the Brexiteers will have died of old age, then perhaps we can look towards reintegration with Europe. The deal we have just agreed basically allows for that, it's basically remaining but with the illusion of having left so as to satisfy all the oldies.

So not a Star Wars fan either, then.

Sorry I dont understand your point.

Admittedly as a rejoiner, I am obviously really thick, but your picture of a Tuscan Raider does not help me understand why you think I am a SW fan or not (I am actually)

Agreed. Since the Brexit actually changes very little in reality, it will serve to keep the rhetoric down / headlines out of the Daily Mail, and we can quietly get on with re-establishing the parts we gave up without any one noticing.

For me thats the most optimistic vision, and one which I feel very positive about
