Anyone had this problem?
I've got it on one joycon and its stopped me using my switch.
Has anyone had a successful solution to this?..

Cheap replacement sticks available on Amazon for ~£10. 15 minutes to carry out the replacement and all is good.

I've done this with my boys joycons about 6 months ago and the cheap replacement sticks have been perfect.

Yeah, same for me but got the part from eBay. It’s an easy DIY job.

The seller I purchased mine from has disappeared from eBay but it was a similar kit to this one. Nintendo use some screws that need a three pointed screwdriver so worth getting a kit with one included.

Yep. Me too. I started getting it about six months ago. It’s a common fault and Nintendo will sort it out free of charge if what I’ve read is true. It’s great to read there’s a simple DIY fix. I’m reluctant to send my controllers away right now as I fear I’d never see them again due to pandemic staff shortages.

Yep happened to the lads. Bought to 2 from here and they took about 30 minutes to replace. Really easy fix.

Are there different types of replacement sticks? I bought some off Amazon, fitted them and neither worked. Swapped back to the originals and working again.

I sent one of ours back to Nintendo, took 3/4 weeks but all sorted for free. My brother did the fix at home, but we have 2 sets of joycons for 4 player games so didn’t see the point in doing it myself.
