After how many hours of track time should oil be changed?
I presume that the Porsche guidelines are wrong?
No correct answer here, I’ve heard of people who do no extra and some change every TD.I presume that the Porsche guidelines are wrong?
Personally change mine every 5 TDs
Also new front rotors and pads. Rears have been lasting around x2.5 - x3 vs the fronts.... that was with OEM Steel rotors, Pads and fluid.
Changed to PFC V3 rotors F/R, Manthey-Racing Pagid Pads F/R with SRF, and braided lines so hopefully will all last longer now.
This year so far, new coil packs as a precaution, as the car is 5years old. With a few more nice little bits to come.

Wow, so ten track days would be over £10k.
Incredible, had no idea it ran into that level of costs.
That very cheap track time. As a comparison, 10 races in a Cayman GT4 race would be around £100k and 10 races in Carrera Cup around £150k both plus damage costs - and you get less track time at race meetings Incredible, had no idea it ran into that level of costs.
Running a relatively heavy GT car on the track has a cost. I always budget between £1-1.3k per track day
And this is why I track my Elise in preference to the 911. It's significantly lighter weight means costs are a fraction of those posted above and I tend to change the oil/filter every 3 track days.
Obviously, if you have very deep, well-stocked pockets this may not be a consideration!
