I think "Money for Nothing" by Dire Straits would be much more appropriate - as it lists most of those items IIRC.

(And has one of the top three guitar licks of all time IMO)

nothing seems to last, i have a 3 year old kitchen with (what i was told were) premium products. fridge bust, hinge on both dishwasher and oven gone in last 2 weeks!

Tell me about it. 5 cordless phones all knackered, by the storms I think plus my Olympus digi cam has died too. £450 when new and dead just out of guarantee. I am seriously fed up with new technology.

Speak to trading standards... My replacement plasma arrives on Wednesday despite it being out of warranty when it broke! The original supplier has an obligation for what they sell to last "a reasonable amount of time"

If it's just out of guarantee they should still fix/replace it for you.
