2010 MV Agusta 1090RR. I am absolutely loving mine. Not an automatic go-to for most, hell you don't even see them or hear about them but these bikes are great.
Handling is up there, they look amazing, the sound is epic, plus unlike many bikes you don't see one every 5 minutes, it's way better made than the earlier MVs and the engine is way more reliable and easy to ride than the highly tuned triples MV make. I had an 800/3 for a while but the very impressive 140 bhp was produced at the expense of being a nice engine, the fuelling was appalling.
Looking forwards to spring, i suggest this bike for people who love an upright sports bike over a full out race replica.
145 bhp may not sound a lot nowadays but no bike which reaches 100 in 6 seconds can be termed slow and it is so nice to actually own and ride.

MV's can be a bit of a labour of love. If you get a good one it is rock solid, get one that has been mistreated and you can be in for the world of pain and cash. Also if you don't care for them correctly it can go towards and expensive bill. The 3 cylinders fuelling is fine if you had the updates. Everything from 2015 onwards got way better. I think the issue comes from people wanting a high revving race engine to behave like a Japanese IL4, the early fuelling maps being pretty bad, people sticking the bike in Sport and wondering why it wasn't too sensitive, the RBW throttle having a light spring and people thinking R was Race and not Rain. The 3 cylinder bikes are also really sensitive to throttle body synchronisation.
My 657 will happily tick along at 30mph in 6th and pull (not very fast, I may add) without any major dramas.
Get over the MVOCUK facebook group too. Lots of info and other owners there.
I'll wait to see what the changes in MV bring, new Russian owners, Adrian Morton out, partnership with China.. Harkens back to TVR and we all know how that turned out.

The Brutale 1090 is a great bike and such good VFM used buy.
I have had a 2015 1090RR model from new, done 13k miles on it and its been faultless. Its supposed to be 158bhp standard, I fit a full system, removed intake restrictors, air filter and remap, it made 152bhp at the back wheel (up from 141bhp) More than enough for a naked sports bike
Had the suspension setup to suit me when I got it. Fit a few minor mods like tail tidy etc otherwise its just great as it is.
I also test rode a B3 800RR in 2014, found it a little less roomy, and needed more revs. The 1090 is virtually an upright comfy riding position, which is what I was after in a naked sports bike.
