Banned from driving for 3 years, I assume that period starts as soon as his jail sentence ends right? A joke regardless.

Should be banned for life and that’s before taking into account his previous conviction.

A most hateful crime. I think for the injuries caused the prison punishment is probably fair, if anything, a little short! So I think he got off lucky.

However I do find it annoying the article has to mention a "Four litre BMW M5" and the Judge mentioning showing off a "powerful car".

If the exact same actions were done in a 2.0 Diesel Vauxhall Insignia (which is easily capable of those speeds, or even a Tesla Model 3 which is just as fast as an M5 most of the time) do you think it would have been mentioned?
