Passenger side:

I need the full lot. Full arm and blade. Anyone know the size or do I need to get it from TVR themselves?

Plus - Where the old one was, I just have the washer jet pipe. Will this just re-attach to a new arm or is it more fiddley ?

I bought new arms from TMS at Melton they were 9.80 +VAT each, hardly seems worth chasing round to find alternatives at that price? The wiper blades were 6.50+VAT each.

HOWEVER, the washer hose that runs up the arm was a whopping 26.48+VAT each!!! Cant quite work out how this price is justified.

Whatever you do dont let the washer hose fall back through the hole in the scuttle, you may end up having to take the dash out to retreive it!! It only took me from 8am til 5pm one saturday to do this, so be warned!

I would recommend the new wiper set that Leven make, they are much better than the originals as the passenger side wiper actually sits on the screen, the squirter is much improved as well. Comes complete with 2 arms, blades and all pipe work.

Yup, definitely the way to go. They work, too.

Definitely Leven by choice. May be a few more £ than buying standard but designed and made well as you would expect with Leven gear, and it looks so much better too.
PS: If the full assembly price for standard is as MISTER T says then you are better off getting both wipers from Leven.

Cheers, Paul

Although, bizarrely, the Leven set that I just fitted leave a 3inch square in the middle of the drivers side completely untouched. Some adjustment required me-thinks!

Catretriever.
You are probably driving too fast and your screen is changing shape under the pressure!

I had this with some new blades. It turned out that the blade couldn't move freely relative to the arm (plastic was being warped). I cut off the offending plastic bit and normal service resumed.

I am awaiting the Leven Kit (just the blades) so will report when I get them. They're on back order, although I ordered a hood cover as the car will be spending 5 days or so outside in Manchester and it arrived the next day.

Just about everyone mentioned the Leven ones but no one mentioned how much. I and i'm sure Lazyitis would like to know, so does anyone have a Leven Catalogue to hand?
Also Leventech, is this years catalogue out yet?

mm.. anyone got a solution for the wipers leaving the screen at high speed i.e. on a track day?

Leven ones are better than std, can't remember price, but they weren't much..
