V8V options and prices.
Discussion
I suspect you would be well advised to buy "the book" (see sticky above).
Some options such as lightweight seats (which I assume you mean when you say sports seats, which are in fact the std seats), were not available until later model years, and some options became std, whilst other std options then became optional. Plus of courses prices changes as the years moved on.

Thanks for that list! It would seem a load of stuff on my car that I thought was standard is actually optional . . . over 6k worth!

It does seem standard practice, for many premium car manufacturers.
First hook an excited punter, sit them down with free refreshments surrounded by wonderful cars, then encourage them to tick as many options as possible.
For subsequent buyers, all the original options are virtually free.
Perhaps cynical, but probably true.
Somewhere in my history file I have the original purchase invoice for my MY2010 4.7 Roadster. Significantly north of £100k when new - helped along by it having the majortiy of options selceted! I'd just like to take this opportunity to publicly thank the 3 previous owners for paying all that depreciation for me so I can now own the car!

Perfect, same year as mine, not sure I understand the paint/leather colour options though.
Which colour is your car Bill?
Normally AML offer some standard colours, then some more of their own colours at extra cost.
Going further, some customers want a colour offered by another manufacturer.
The highest price colour option would be when you want them to match something you show them. We have seen that option on here occasionally, and the customer even chooses their own colour name.
For model year 2009, the alternative colour options were made slightly easier to understand as follows;
1. Aston Martin colour ranges;
a. Fast Track standard colours.
b. Contemporary.
c. Special Colours.
2. Other manufacturer colours.
3. Any other colour.
