Waitrose own brand spirits

Waitrose own brand French Brandy, Vodka and wine....are they a disaster or are they ok? Any thoughts or opinions.

Yes, their whisky is OK. M&S whisky is st.

I don't like their whisky at all (for balance!) tastes artificially over-caramelled if that's a thing.

Armagnac good.

As are the wines, e.g. Good Ordinary Claret.
I enjoy most supermarket own brand wines however
Winesoc stuff is for the w/e

I haven't tried the brandy, but all other items are solid and dependable, depending on preferences.

Watch the ABVs on wines though as these have been dropping, however the Spanish red and rosé still weigh in at 13.5%.

How did you find it - I was just about to post that I thought their Gin was rubbish :-) Very little flavour

Yeah, I think you’re right. 37.5% maybe lacks punch. I’ll have to finish it though.
