There’s a difference between saying something was predictable and having actually predicted it. It’s a concept we covered with my 6 year old when home schooling today.

However, if you look at the original thread for my post around 9:20 yesterday you will see something wink

I’m not in the least bit surprised the FPNs were withdrawn. I am surprised Derbyshire Plod has apologised.

This extract from the link clarifies the situation nicely.

It says local "means stay in the village, town, or part of the city where you live", but that has no legal force.
Very useful to know for sure what's required by law and what's a non-legally enforceable recommendation.
