Where the hell do I stand?

I've now spent a good few hours searching the gov.uk sites.

Basically I own a UK business, we operate purely in the uk, sub-contracting to EU Companies providing service and repair of their machinery in the UK, to their UK based customers.

We invoice the EU based company for our services

They then invoice their UK customers for the services provided

I cannot find any guidance at all for this scenario, is anyone else in a similar situation, or have any links to guidance for this scenario?

I am not sure what you're asking.

Is there anything stopping you from carrying on as normal?

Well I don't know, thats what I'm confused about confused

Do I need to pay tarrifs for said services now?
Do I need to continue to charge VAT?

Basically what is the impact on my business, the Brexit checker is meant to allow you to tell it a bit about you and it tells you what restrictions/new rules apply to you, but it doesn't have an option vaguely near the way our business operates?

We also supply parts, although thats a bit of bed time reading for tariffs, import codes, timber packaging requirements etc, but at least there is something to read!!

Not really an option, their machines, their parts, their customers, contracts in place. readitjudge

Well, carry on invoicing the foreigners as usual - well maybe ex-VAT - and perhaps they will pay you smile

Pretty straightforward. If the place of supply is in the UK you charge VAT.
