Thinking about buying a <3 year BMW at auction. Given a new BMW would still be under warranty would this transfer if buying through an auction (assuming a lease company seller)?

Cheers

If they haven't cancelled the warranty.

Under some circumstances manufactures void any remaining warranty so you shouldn't always assume it will have one.

This may be an old memory but I’m sure the Porsche warranty will transfer on a private sale but not retail/trade (unless official Porsche centre obviously).

Yes this is where I am coming from.

My “car sourcing agent” tells me original manufacturers warranty’s transfer having quizzed him about it.
