SQ5 or Cayenne MK2 Dilemma

Hi guys on the hunt for a family car ATM, and having a genuine dilemma here wouldn't mind hearing from someone who has owned both or owns one or the other.

Reliability I gather they are both generally quite reliable ?

Looks wise I'm leaning on the Porsche

Performance I'll be going diesel flavour in either so SQ5 is the winner here although I'm really not fussed on performance too much both should be adiquate for my needs.

Anything I should be aware of in either cars ?

Budget is around 18 with a bit of wiggle room so going by autotrader that seems I'll get a reasonable milage example of either.

So far I'm more biased to the Porsche and reason not to be

Cayenne is a much larger vehicle than the Q5, so will be a much better family car. Cayenne platform mate is the Q7.

Q5 platform mate is the Macan.

As above they're a class apart so I'd say look at the Q7 in S Line Plus spec
