I'm watching all the time and seen what I think is the new RSV4 and Tuono

I'm only bothered about the Tuono but keen now to see if this is official and spec

How different is that to the new 660, in looks?
Rendering only?

Looks like a 660 with a can and the lower faring shroud moved a bit!

44T have a good rundown ( https://www.44teeth.com/all-you-need-to-know-about...)

TL;DR - 20cc more capacity, 214bhp, as-yet-unconfirmed torque, EU5 compliance, the ubiquitous wings from MotoGP, new swingarm and bracing, new dash, new ECU and IMU including adjustable engine braking and 6 modes.

Sounds like it's had a right good going-through to bring it up to date.

I prefer the look of my 2019 Tuono - the polished swing arm may be heavier and not work as well as the new one but nicer to look at. Current bike is already far more capable than me and can’t say I’ve felt it lacks power or handling ability. I’ve been doing 8 hour rides on it recently, doing big loops from Auckland either up north or across to the Coromandel without too much discomfort. In summary:
I wouldn’t rush out to swap to the latest model. When I do replace it I will be trying the 660 first to see if I could live with less power (but substantially less weight too).

Now it’s been officially released and have seen some comparison photos.

Personally for me, the old bike had a nicer top fairing and seat unit but I do like the underslung swingarm on the new bike, looks a bit more racey somehow. Be interesting to ride one as the old one was amazing, I can’t imagine the new one is leaps and bounds ahead.

On the subject of swingarms, they are something Aprilia excel at. From V4’s to V2 Tuono and RSVs and down to older RS125s they are always a much nicer looking item than any other manufacturer.
