If you are fully comp, car has full front ppf from new and you are in a bump, and its your own fault, is the ppf covered by the insurance with its replacement

I would assume if it didn’t come factory fitted and or declared on the insurance, I would guess it’s not covered

If it was applied when car was new and before first registration through the supplying dealer then the PPF will be covered by insurance. The reason i know this is when i had a minor front end accident in my RS last February. The PPF had been applied by Topaz Bristol arranged though my OPC before it was registered in my name. The insurance loss adjuster accepted that the PPF would be covered with no quibble.

I had a new bumper including PPF through insurance with no problem. The PPF was arranged by me and fitted after delivery.
