I can't even think of the last time I saw a Victor estate, I wonder how many they sold.
There are lots of things missing in that photo though that we now take for granted; no double or single yellow lines, no residents' permit parking bays, no loading-only bays, no speed cameras, no bus lane, no bus lane cameras, no 'sign not in use' signs, no temporary traffic lights 'to protect the workforce' whilst they replace a paving slab on the pavement. How did people manage back then?
