The minute lockdown is up I’m going on a road trip. I’m not confident about staying in hotels/B&Bs so will be camping. Any recommendations for a single person tent that is easy to put up/down that fits in the 911’s boot?

Argos. Seriously. Buy a two man tent for not a huge amount of money. Also an airbed and pump. Exactly what I did many years ago for my first Le Mans in my Cerbera.

A double airbed will fit perfectly in a two man tent, so you won't roll over in the night and fall off it!

Still got my tent somewhere. It served me very well.

Decathlon is excellent for inexpensive camping equipment. Their website lists the dimensions of the packed tents. And I totally agree, get a double inflated bed.

I agree with the above, air bed when camping makes all the difference.

I swear by this one - https://www.leisureoutlet.com/airbeds/sleeping/car...

Regarding mattresses, I find these are perfect: https://alpkit.com/products/dumo

Don’t take up much room, super comfy, and less faff to inflate than a full blow up mattress.

How about one of these ... https://tentbox.com/product/tentbox-classic/ ... and some roof bars (unless you have a cab')? Look comfy; keeps you off the cold ground and reduces the risk of being flooded out.

Oops, see you wrote "fits in the boot".

Unless it was bloody huge I imagine just about any tent will fit.

We used to do Le Mans with a four man proper tent, air beds, camp chairs and small tables, 2 adults 1 child in a 911.

Just buy a pop up tent no effort needed
