Advice on a door panel scratch

Hello all. I have a scratch on a rear passenger door, smack bang in the middle of the panel. Definitely not a t cut job.

A small local firm (with good online reviews) had a look at it and said they could repair it and it would look like new. Painting the affected door panel only.

I know little about bodywork but I was under the impression that a scratch on the side meant whole side resprayed. Basically I’m worried that I end up with a door that is a different colour to the one next to it.

Am I being overly paranoid or is what I’m being told by the body shop realistic?

Let them do it and if you're not happy refuse to accept it.
It's impossible for anyone on a forum to advise you otherwise when we don't know what car it is,what the colour is and where the scratch is
