Whilst Everest has had tonnes of commercial teams ascending it, K2 still requires climbing skills, I believe, and as such is seen as many times harder.
So this achievement is all the better. Shame that the link to the instagram page from the BBC article, doesn't appear to show a group summit photo, but that instead looks like a base camp group picture. They aren't dressed right for the summit and the mountains in the background appear to be much higher up than where the pic was taken, which doesn't happen on the summit of K2.
