Trevor has gone today and it was rather a sad time seeing him driven onto the transporter and disappear off into the sunrise (it was morning).

I've had lots of fun in G399 TVR and hope the new owner will cherish it just as much.

I even had an e-mail from the dealer to say :- "Tvr has arrived safely .. It is a credit to you! Very impressed."

Did anyone spot it on a low loader going from Kent to Yorkshire?

Is it coming to live in Yorkshire then? I didnt see it but am always on the lookout for others around here they seem to be a little thin on the ground. I was beginning to think you guys down south had them all.

Hi Carl,

It's now with a dealer in Yorkshire but he not only sent me an e-mail he phoned me to say how much he liked the car and he's using it himself at the moment. He invited some friends over the day after he took the car in and one of them saw the S at his house, liked it and went out for a spin with him and fell in love with it, so it may have found a new home already!

Have you found a good one yourself yet, I recall you were looking a little while ago?

I must admit that I am missing the car

But the new one (Pontiac) is also fun in a different way, it's a fair bit quieter than the Tiv but has that lovely V8 style burble

Yeah I found me an S3 in cooper green and the other half and I will hopefully be makin an appearance at SCH3 ... Will see how it compares to the others around then. It has a few litle jobs to be done but I think is basically a good one.. If by any chance you saw the article in October 2003 edition of Sports Car Classics, comparing an S3 to a 2002 Tamora, that was the S that I now own .

Hi Tim,

2 more weeks and I should know about work, fingers crossed eh

My old S is now up for sale with the dealer, the price is £7000. He's very impressed with it and I must say it looked a fair bit smarter than when you all came over a few weeks back, after I got waxing
