Vodaphone router replacement

[V8 Animal]

With Vodaphone now for the next 2 years and the wifi on their router is shocking always dropping out.
BT one previous did drop out but across all wifi not just random devices.
This happens daily and it’s pot luck what works and what doesn’t.
Big mistake moving!
Bit of google suggests this router.

However I’ve read I need login in details from vodaphone to use this.
Is this still true?
Cheers

Can’t help on that router but I got credentials for using my own router quickly and easily from Vodafone via their web chat.
