Ok own up - who let them out!!

Just walked down my local co-op to get some provisions, ahead of me in the queue is a very old gibbery looking gentleman who, having paid for his goods, is standing there talking to the lady behind the counter.
When he finishes, he finally walks off and beckons "youth today, no respect the lot of you" to the lady.
I asked her what that was all about, apparently said gentleman had seen the guy in front of him buying cigarrattes and stuff and paying for it on his credit card. Having seen this he then kicked off to the shop assistant and the guy in front saying that they were all stupid, they wouldnt get away with that in his day, then he kicked off about young people and their flashy fast cars (pointing at my courtesy car Fiesta Flame outside :hehe:) and then finally gave the respect comment and stormed out the shop.
Me and the shop assistant had a good laugh about it and traded a couple of stories of our and I went off, only to come outside to a different old guy glaring at me. As I got in the car he said "I normally park there young man", so I politely asked if this space was allocated and he said "no it is not but its my usual space" and stormed off (no car in sight :confused:!!)
Can someone plese reopen the mental asylum and put them back in???

etc........There are two varieties of oldenfolk.
The genuinely cheery, who respect society, and thus feel a part of it, they are a pleasure to talk to.
And the bleaker creatures, who dont feel a part of our world, their half-rotten brains projecting misery and gloom which merely serves to bring more suffering upon themselves, each time they set foot outside their sarcophagus.
If you dont have a cheful outlook today, adopt one. For when you are elderlsome, it will be the tinted glass through which your world is viewed

Get all thee old people onto Work Experience schemes! They clearly have too much time on their hands.
On BBC South West last night there was a full 5 minute story about a woman of retirment age who had been threatened with prosecution because she had stuck a Union Jack over the EC flag on her driving licence.
FFS love! You've always been in Europe - what you mean is you are anti EC.
Best bit is, she probably drives a French or Spanish car. Or worse from her point of view, Japanese - "especially after what they did to our boys during the last war"
All that is conveniently ignored by her though.
