hi,
as anyone retrofit a Burmester in a 911 via OPC
considering doing so, the standard sound is abysmal and I want to use OEM due warranty
I had Burmester in a 991 and thought it was rubbish. In fact sometimes listening to the radio I thought it was broken.as anyone retrofit a Burmester in a 911 via OPC

Bose similarly did not impress. I had to turn the bass right down to make it tolerable.
I am not absolutely sure, but I would have though non-Porsche approved stuff would be alright because it is an audio accessory. I stand to be corrected on that point however.
I think it would be night on impossible to fit Burmeister. You’d probably need to upgrade the PCM in some way and I imagine the wiring loom in a standard car won’t have the right cabling for the subwoofers.
I’d also add whilst it’s good I wouldn’t say it’s mind blowing by any means. That’s based on having it in a Macan and Bose to compare with it in a Cayenne. 911 just has too much road noise to really appreciate a good speaker system
