MGC GT Location

I am looking for a particular MGC GT. I unfortunately don't have the VIN. I have the original owners name and the state I believe it was purchased. Any ideas on trying to locate this vehicle?

I'm guessing you're based in the USA as you know the state it was sold in and I'm assuming you're referring to its location, not condition. However I think my first thought still holds true, so either the MG Owners club, or more likely the MG Car Club, should have members groups on the other side of the pond who may be able to help.
