It's the same chip shortage that's been screwing up the new Xbox, Playstation, GPU launches for the last 3 months...different chips but only so much manufacturing capacity worldwide...then you add in Covid, shipping issues, etc...

Yeah TSMC make over half of these chips globally then Samsung make something like 20%. So they are knocking out billions of chips for ‌iPhone's, graphics cards, playstations, etc., and Apple are far more important to them than Audi.
