2018 TT key fob problem

Neither of the fobs for my wife’s TT unlocks the car following perhaps 2-3 weeks of not being used. They allow us to start the engine by holding them against the steering column but they won’t operate the central locking. I’ve replaced the batteries to no avail and I can’t find anything online about reprogramming the fob for the mk3 model which has no ignition barrel. I’ve also tried pressing the buttons while the emergency key is in the lock but that doesn’t work.

Does anyone know how to reprogrammed them please? I’m aware of a company called Auto Solutions who apparently may be able to solve the problem but i thought I’d try on here first.
