Any pointers on who to speak to you, or funding advisors on here ?

Not too keen on the crowd sharing websites, had some early chats with PE (too small, too early stage), and now too big for friends and angel investors.

Tech start up, (SaaS in the B2B space), set-up early last year, product launched and now winning clients.
About £250k invested to date (plus the same in sweat equity). Looking to now ramp up at pace (sales, marketing, back office, tech), exploit first mover advantage.

Huge mkt potential - but equally very high risk, so need a funder that is happy with this level of risk reward.

How much are you looking to raise? You might find that it is not out of the question to achieve it through angels and/or angel syndicates.

As you probably know, there are many, many VCs out there of different flavours. It's always best if you can have a warm introduction to get their attention, so start with those that you/your network know.

Even if they aren't right for you just now, I expect Northedge would be interested to hear about you

Here is one example of why https://www.prolificnorth.co.uk/news/technology-ne...

One of the easiest ways to get a warm intro to VCs or other high risk/high reward investment houses is when your business touches other businesses that already have this type of investment. The narrative goes along the lines of 'have you looked at these guys, they're really good'. Most VCs will take this kind of intro very seriously; it's third party validation and creates credibility. Since they're already invested in the space, should be of interest to them, and/or others they co-invest with.

Thanks spoke with them, too early stage and not established enough, as you said could be super useful a year or so down the line.

How much are you looking to raise and what turns you off about crowd funding?
