Errrr help!
I was trying to check the oil and water yesterday, when the catch that releases the front top pin on the Tuscan bonnet made an odd noise. I think the cable has either snapped or come off!
Anyone know how to open the bonnet to have a look around/try to fix it? Thanks!
Also, the fan and heater lights are out, and there's no fan power etc. I've tried pressing the buttons in and out to no avail! Any ideas would be much appreciated!
Oh - also worked out why the engine was stuttering at 6000rpm - exhaust system was full of bits of catalyst! Fixed now though - sooooooo much more power :D

If indeed the cable has snapped then the only way to open the service bonnet is to undo the 2 5mm allen screws that hold the front section of the bonnet down (nunber plate level). Its also the bonnet pivot point. Once removed you will have to carefully pop either side of the bonnet top catches and slid the bonnet forward away from the centre lock/retaining pin.
As for the fans, from reading other similar threads it sounds like either a fuse or relay. Could also be a fan motor failure as well, tho I doubt it if the leds are out as well. I would go for fuse first.

I was thinking of the sissor method, but the weather's been a bit wet! I'll have a look, but if not I'll release it from the pivot points!

You should have seen the old ones, on one side, the entire cat, and baffles from the silencer was compacted aroung the rear box! Very messy!
